Located at Beausset, on the territory of the Bandol appellation, cradle of the most beautiful red wines of Provence, La Font des Pères benefits from a unique terroir. It has two hundred steep terraces, called restanques, where the vines are planted in only two rows for the most part.
Five kilometers from one of the most beautiful coasts of the Mediterranean sea, as the crow flies, the estate benefits from the maritime influence, while taking advantage of the sunny, dry and windy climate of Provence. This maritime influence is decisive for the blooming of the grape variety of the appellation, Mourvèdre.
Exposed to the north, a pledge of freshness and elegance, the vines plunge their roots into the stony soil of plots dedicated to red wines, located between 250 and 350 meters above sea level. The plots below are rather dedicated to whites and rosés, where the soil is richer but the terraces remain extremely draining.
