In terms of grape varieties, Mourvèdre (half of the estate is devoted to it), the signature of the excellence of Bandol wines, is omnipresent in red wine. Associated with 10% of Grenache, this late-ripening, rich and powerful grape gives a unique aromatic relief and offers exceptional aging potential. It is also the basis of rosé, tied with Grenache for Bandol, or Cinsault for Les Ginestés. It allows, combined with an ageing in barrels for a small part of the volumes, to slowly become a more gastronomic rosé. “ We want to take advantage of the direct contact with wine connoisseurs. The vault or the farm inn, help us to share our conviction that it is not only the rosé of the year </ em>”, says Philippe Chauvin.
